I  wanted to tell you about our experience with Nordic Naturals for our Bichon Frise.  Jake is fifteen years old, has bad arthritis, and very bad  skin.  

His skin was so dry and inflamed that he often itched it to the point of bleeding. We had tried  hydrocortisone with limited success and then the vet said that he may be lacking important oils in his diet.

I had remembered reading about Nordic Naturals in the book, the Gold Coast Cure.  So I picked up some of your fish oil for Jake.
 
I gave him his first tablet at night and the next morning he was snoring.  Before, he woke us up every morning while he was itching himself incessantly.  His skin continued to improve with the oil which was given to him twice a day.   

The other miracle I noticed with the oil was that he was able to jump down from our bed while using it.  Before this he would always need to be lifted and he had pain just walking.  The fish oil seemed to give him a dramatic improvement for his coat,  joints and general well being.  

I found Jake coming back to his old self and being the happy, loveable and playful dog that we once knew.

Taste
Every morning I fry an egg for my Bichon Frise, Turbo.  It is when I go to the refrigerator for his Nordic Natural Pet Cod Liver Oil that he sits up to take notice.   He will stand on his hind legs trying to get a better look at his favorite treat or if he doesn’t notice the preparation, he will come racing across the room as soon as I put the bowl down with his breakfast.  More often than not, he will lick the Pet Cod Liver Oil the eggs immediately.  I swear he smiles at me when he is done. 

If he doesn’t feel like eating at dinnertime, I will mix Pet Cod Liver Oil with his kibble.  The once boring dinner becomes a feast to celebrate.

Behavior
I have been involved with Bichon Frises since 1983.  I have met and owned countless dogs and puppies alike, but Turbo is the best-behaved Bichon I have ever met.  He is also the only Bichon I have ever given Nordic Natural Pet Cod Liver Oil.  I am really looking forward to training him professionally.  It has been a joke in my family that “A trained Bichon” is an oxymoron.  But, I have done training with Turbo on my own with impressive results.  He will actually go to the bathroom on command and understands the difference between “potty” and “poopoo”.  Also, he has learned that aggressive behavior is only allowed when I wear my play gloves, so I feel total confidence in allowing small children to play with him.

Friends and neighbors have told me that Turbo is the most well behaved dog they have ever met.  I know I can thank Nordic Natural Pet Cod Liver Oil for giving him the resources for a balanced mental outlook.

Coat
Turbo has one of the softest coats I have ever felt on any animal.  I know his healthy diet is an important contributor to his healthy coat.  I feed him only organic foods and always give him Nordic Natural Pet Cod Liver Oil.

Joint
One of the concerns of owning a Bichon is the tendency for Arthritis to develop early – robbing this natural spring to be grounded.  I know I am doing the best thing to prevent this by giving him Nordic Natural Pet Cod Liver Oil everyday.

Energy
I take my Nordic Naturals fish oil everyday hoping I can have half the energy Turbo has.  He was named Turbo for a reason – he has reinvented the “Bichon Breaze”.  His antics of running at top speed (wearing out his much larger friends) keeps us all laughing.
