We currently have a part-time opening for a Copywriter. We offer a great work environment with competitive pay and benefits.
The Copywriter is responsible for creating consistent copy for ads, brochures, mailers, and the web, editing and updating existing marketing materials, writing newsletter articles, and proofreading and editing technical papers.
The successful candidate will have excellent skills in evaluating and critiquing scientific research relevant to fish/cod liver oil and medicinal conditions, solid attention to detail, good command of dietary supplement industry, DSHEA and FDA compliance, a working knowledge of competitor products and claims, and the ability to write for professionals, consumers, and retailers.
Other skills we are looking for include familiarity with Macintosh computers and MS Office, the ability to manage multiple projects at once, maintain files, and work in a team as well as independently. Having a working knowledge of Allopathic healthcare and medical research methods and procedures is beneficial.
We are looking for someone who embraces a positive attitude and possesses excellent communication skills while being professional and organized.
The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in English, Journalism, or other related field, or equivalent experience. Education focus on dietary supplement research, research methods, etc. is helpful.
